Niche before....
This interesting space is located on the second floor above the main entrance, with a 10 ft. space
between it and the railing for the family room.  It can be entered only by the door to the attic.  The
client wanted the doors to be hidden.  The theme of the rest of the house is French
Country/Enchanted Forest.  The house is in a wooded area and the clients enjoy bird watching,
therefore wanted to incorporate some of their favorite birds in the mural.  The area also is used
for the family christmas tree and miniature train during the hoidays.

(Excuse the poor quality of photos - we're working on getting better ones!)  Be sure to click in the
image to get a better look.  Trompe l'oeil banister and architechturtal arches and columns frame
a stone wall with hanging baskets of ivy and pear topiaries in decorative pots.  Birds native to
North Texas woodland areas add life to the enclosed 'garden' that once was just blank walls.  The
Christmas tree will look beautiful here!
