"Sunset" Mural
Acrylic on canvas. Approx. 6' x 6'. An option for heightening a ceiling without
literally knocking out the roof, this sunset mural gives a sense of height and
loftiness to an otherwise small living area. Painted in the artist's studio on an
8' x 8' canvas then attached to the ceiling. The wooden trim makes it appear
to be an actual window to the sky!

dreary hallway is "opened up". Step through an arbor on to a flower lined
stone path leading to a shaded gazebo among the rolling prairies. The
existing doorway is cleverly camouflaged by transforming its trim into an arbor
covered with wisteria vines.

Inspired by the seven famous 16th century French Unicorn Tapestries, which
tell a story in which medieval stag hunt and the legend of the unicorn is
combined. Full of royal symbolism of the times. Look for the hidden "P" for
Parish in each mural.
